Julie Lerman has been involved in INETA since its early days and was an integral part of the growth from the original concept of a few user group leaders to a worldwide organization today. Julie worked on the User Group Relations Committee, eventually took on the role of Chairperson, and then move on to become a member of the INETA North America Board of Directors.
In addition to INETA, Julie has been the spirited leader of the Vermont .NET User Group based in Burlington, VT, her home state. She has worked tirelessly to build a vibrant community that provides great value to all the developers in that area.
When asked why she loves giving back to the developer community, Julie spoke of the camaraderie, love of the profession, meeting great people, sharing knowledge, and just being part of something fun and rewarding.
Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Julie in person or hearing her speak knows that she epitomizes the true meaning of community with her unbounded enthusiasm that is infectious. She loves to share her enthusiasm for technology and bring people together so that they may benefit from interacting with one another, thereby building a better community for everyone.
