Derek Hatchard is a web entrepreneur, consultant, and trainer/mentor. He is also a Microsoft Regional Director, Microsoft MVP, author, and speaker. Doug Spindler
Membership Mentor for Northern California

Douglas R. Spindler grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley. He wrote his fist computer program was when he was 12 years old on a Teletype machine with paper tape and a 300 baud modem connected to the University of California at Berkeley. After writing a program too long for tape he began using punch cards then cassette tapes on an IBM-PC. Doug attended the University of California and received a degree in Molecular-Cellular and Developmental Biology while still maintaining an interest in computers and technology. While in college Doug became involved in technology user groups and later founded Pacific IT Professionals or Pac IT Pros. The interest in the Pac IT Pros community still continues to grow. Doug's monthly Pac IT Pros meetings are simulcast live to 9 other IT Pro community groups on the west coast. Microsoft recognized Doug's work in the IT Pro community and invited him to become a member of Microsoft's IT Pro Council which lead to him supporting IT Pro communities across the US, South America, Europe and India. Doug is the creator of TechDays, technical training events "where IT Pros learn IT today, and deploy IT tomorrow". Doug works as a Technology Consultant for the past twenty-five years. He has designed solutions for the US Department of Energy, UCSF Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente, Lawrence National Laboratory, GTE, and several financial institutions. Doug also teaches Microsoft technology classes at a Bay Area College, is an author, lecturer and on occasion can be found on the local evening TV news broadcast commenting on technology. Doug has earned several Microsoft certifications which include MCSE 2003, MCITP Server 2008, and Microsoft Certified Trainer. Nolan Zak, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Nolan Zak is an ASP.NET application architect. He has been leading the Victoria .NET Developers Association since June 2004 and has also operated three successful code camps. Nolan mentors other user group leaders on how to run their groups successfully. He also participates in regular discussions with other user group leaders on how to create successful online/offline communities.

Microsoft MVP, INETA National Speaker; Caleb was the lead software architect for Six Flags corporation, worked for Microsoft as a Developer Evangelist, has worked as a technical editor for Wrox Press and has consulted and mentored developers for several fortune 100 companies. As a long time community leader ,Caleb is well known for his engaging speaking style, depth of knowledge and creative energy. As a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, Certified Trainer and .NET architect, Caleb has helped to design and implement enterprise .NET Solutions for some of the largest companies in the world; American Airlines, Countrywide Mortgage, Six Flags Corporation, Travelocity, CGI-AMS, Dollar Thrift Automotive Group and Sunoco Inc. to name a few.

John Baird is the founder of Xamlware, Inc., a professional consulting firm specializing in Silverlight and Windows Phone 7 development. John has 30 years of experience designing, coding, and implementing software solutions.

John co-founded the Northern Delaware .Net Users group, is heavily involved in the local .Net communities, and travels extensively presenting to user groups, code camps and special interest groups. John has also published a number of articles for CoDe magazine.

John is also a 3 time recipient of Microsoft’s MVP award and is one of the first MVP’s for Windows Phone 7.

John Blumenauer is a Lead Software Engineer for Metrico Wireless, Inc. in Frederick, MD. Before arriving at Metrico Wireless, he worked for General Electric Aviation (formerly Smiths Aerospace) as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to working at GE, John was a software engineer for several software product development companies, including MICROS and Orbital Sciences Corporation. During John’s 13 year career in software development, he has worked with a variety of languages and has contributed to projects of all sizes, including large scale enterprise applications. Keith Elder is the host of the popular online technology podcast Deep Fried Bytes. He is also a Team Leader / Sr. Software Engineer for Quicken Loans, the nation's largest online mortgage lender based in Livonia, MI and is the founder of the Hattiesburg, MS .Net User Group called Hub City NUG. Keith is an experienced technologist, systems administrator, software engineer, speaker, trainer and all around geek.

As an experienced educator, trainer and speaker he has logged thousands of hours in front of the classroom teaching students of varying ages from the 6th grade to the college level. He has trained countless developers from various business sectors ranging from top auto manufactures, fortune 500 companies and Universities.

Lee Brandt has been programming professionally for more than a decade and currently works as a Project Lead Consultant with AdventureTech. He speaks regionally about software development practices and has mentored teams on improving their approach to lean software development though achieving technical proficiency. He is a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional, one of the leaders of the Kansas City .Net User Group, and serves as the Regional Mentor for .Net user groups in Kansas and Missouri.

Armanda Turney
Indiana and Kentucky

Armanda is a freelance web designer and marketing consultant with clients nationwide as well as in the Ft. Wayne area. Armanda attended the University of Tampa and graduated with a few science related B.S. degrees. She took a few years off when her children were younger and returned to the work force in 1999 as a full time web developer and consultant. At one point, Armanda oversaw the Merchant Account program at a local bank. That experience coupled with her marketing, & computer experience along with a little scientific method to get things done, provided a strong background to make the jump to the web. Armanda has recently accepted the volunteer position of Ineta Representative for Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky.

Mark Rowe, Director, is a husband and father of two. During the day he works at Magenic as a Senior Consultant. Mark is a local speaker and Integration enthusiast in the Atlanta area. He helped found and currently serves on the board for the Microsoft Integration Architects user group in Atlanta. Mark is also a proud member of the Microsoft BizTalk Virtual Specialist team.

He enjoys teaching, reading, House and Adult Swim on Cartoon network. During his off hours, Mark tries to keep busy with multiple codeplex projects, user group engagements and White Water with his 2 year old.

Rob Windsor is a Senior Consultant and the Director of Training with ObjectSharp Consulting - a Microsoft Gold Partner based in Toronto, Canada. Rob focuses on the architecture, design and development of custom business applications using leading edge Microsoft technologies. In addition Rob is a top rated instructor - authoring and teaching courses on .NET development, SharePoint and software architecture. As a member of the MSDN Canada Speakers Bureau, Rob has had a chance to present at conferences, code camps, and user group meetings in Toronto and across North America. He is President of the Toronto Visual Basic User Group and has been recognized as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for his involvement in the developer community.

Scott Cate is the President of myKB.com, Inc., in Scottsdale, Arizona. myKB.com is a technology company specializing in commercial ASP.NET applications. His product line includes CloudDB.com, myKB.com, KBAlertz.com, and a few others. Scott also runs the Arizona .NET User group, an Arizona based INETA User Group. Scott created AZGroups.com which is a simple calendar that is shared between many Arizona based user groups, to act as a single calendar to post and share local community events. Scott also works with INETA as a User Group Mentor for User Groups in the Desert region (AZ, NM, NV). INETA is also proud to include Scott Cate as an INETA Speaker to travel around North America and deliver .NET related content to other NorAm user groups.

Scott was a founding board member, and now a current member of ASPInsiders.com, a group devoted to giving early feedback to the Microsoft ASP.NET Team. Scott has also been awarded the ASP.NET MVP every year, since 2004. In the authoring category, Scott has co-authored an AJAX book titled "Beginning AJAX with ASP.NET", authored two full length ASP.NET AJAX (C# and Visual Basic) Video Training Courses for AppDev, as well as the non-fiction novel titled "Surveillance" ( http://surveillance-the-novel.com ).

Outside of community and work efforts, Scott enjoys the perfect family. It sounds to good to be true, but really it's true. Scott and Jamie have two perfect children, that are perfect in every way. Jamie, Cameron, and Courtney are what make all the hard work worth while. Finally, Scott has set a 2009 New Years Community Resolution, to repost Sara Ford's very famous ""Visual Studio Tip of the Day"" in video format. Sam Nasr has been a software developer since 1995, focusing mostly on Microsoft technologies. Woody Pewitt

Zach Young is a FileNet Solution Architect at JB Hunt Transportation in Lowell, Arkansas. His job includes researching existing technologies, assisting development teams with architecture designs, and integrating current enterprise systems. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Sam M. Walton College of Business Administration at The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Zach is the President of the Northwest Arkansas .Net User Group and co-founder of the Virtual Alt.Net (VAN) user group. In addition to working with these groups, Zach volunteers his time to assist his church with lighting and the sound board during services.
