As a Solution Architect at Quilogy and member of Microsoft's Regional Director program, Jon Box serves as a .NET evangelist focused on helping developers utilize .NET. Jon's current work emphasizes mobility, using the Compact Framework and ASP.NET Mobile Controls. Jon has been programming professionally since 1985. In that time, he has worked in a variety of environments and languages that include Cobol, Assembler, Clipper, C, C++ (ATL, MFC, Win32), VB, VB .NET, and C#. Jon is in his fifth year at Quilogy and has had many responsibilities in that time including instructor, developer, project manager, a Managing Consultant, and a General Manager. Jon has presented at DevDays, TechEd, and hosted a variety of MSDN WebCasts. Jon is a co-leader of the Memphis .NET Users Group and writes a column for the .NET Developer's Journal. Pete Brown is a Microsoft MVP for Client Application Development (Silverlight and WPF), an INETA Speakers Bureau North America Speaker, and an Architect/Project Manager for Applied Information Sciences in the Washington, DC area.

Pete has been programming for fun since 1984, and professionally since 1992. From his first sprite graphics and custom character sets on the Commodore 64 to 3d modeling and design through to Silverlight, Surface, XNA, and WPF, Pete has always had a deep interest in programming, design, and user experience. Pete’s involvement in Silverlight goes back to the Silverlight 1.1 alpha application that he co-wrote and put into production in July 2007.

Pete has presented at venues ranging from ReMIX, TechReady, TechDays, and the MSDN Developer Conference to local user groups and code camps, ranging from 250 people per session to 8. Andrew J. Brust is Chief, New Technology at Citigate Hudson, Inc., a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner specializing in Business Intelligence and custom database applications built with .NET, SQL Server, and other Microsoft technologies. Bill Evjen is president of the St. Louis .NET User Group which he founded in the later part of 2000. Stephen Forte is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Corzen, Inc, a Manhattan (USA) based provider of online market research data for Wall Street Firms. Stephen is also the Microsoft Regional Director for the NY Metro region. He speaks regularly at industry conferences like Tech*Ed, North Africa Developers Conference and other conferences around the world. He has written several books on database development and currently is writing the MS Press book SQL Server 2005 Core Developers Guide. Prior to Corzen, Stephen served as the CTO of Zagat Survey in New York City and also was co-founder and CTO of the New York based software consulting firm The Aurora Development Group. Carl Franklin has been a figurehead in the VB community since the very early days when he wrote for Visual Basic Programmers Journal. He authored the Q&A column of that magazine as well as many feature articles for VBPJ and other magazines. He has authored two books for John Wiley & Sons on sockets programming in VB, and in 1994 he helped create the very first web site for VB developers, Carl & Gary’s VB Home Page. He now teaches hands-on VB .NET classes for his company, Franklins.Net. He has taught developers from Citigroup, Aetna, Fidelity Investments, Fleet Bank, Foxwoods Casino, UTC, Hubbell, Microsoft, Mohegan Sun Casino, and Northeast Utilities, to name a few.
